'Glee' star sings at Democratic National Convention

Glee star Amber Riley was very happy and felt out of this world over her singing performance at the 2012 Democratic National Convention.

The actress parents were also attending the Convention as she belted out the Star Spangled Banner at the event in Charlotte, North Carolina.

She updated on Twitter,"Singing the National Anthem for the opening of the Democratic Convention! Couldn't be more excited! Exercise your rights as citizens and vote! Vote! Vote!"

She won over a host of famous faces, including Riley, who wrote, "My First Lady is first class all the way. That speech was inspiring. She is everything I aspire to be."

Glee Chord Will Be A Regular On The Show!!!

A good news for the fans of Hunk Chord that after the negotiation with Glee bosses he become a full time member of the cast as the show approaches its fourth season.

Chord was introduced in the 2nd season who plays Sam Evans in the popular musical drama and would eventually become a love interest for Amber Riley's character Mercedes Jones in the third season.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the deal has been finalize b/w him and Glee which will see him become a regular member of the cast.

Overstreet along with the majority of Glee's recurring characters will be returning for the next series, including some new ones as well such as Dean Geyer who starred in the fantastic Sci Fi series Terra Nova produced by Steven Spielberg.
