Gwyneth Paltrow's UK Glee debut sparks chart success

Gwyneth Paltrow is proving to be a download hit following her presence on famous TV show Glee.

She played a substitute teacher Holly Holliday in Glee and entertains fans with the number of of different tracks.

According to mid-week chart sales, the medley is at number 24, while chart-topper Forget You has bagged her spot 29.

However, despite Gwynnie's stalwart effort, Adele looks set to stay at the top of the charts this week.

The Brit singer's latest offering Someone Like You is likely to bag the top singles chart spot for the second week running, while her album 21 is continuing to outsell its nearest rivals.

Kathy Griffin to guest star on 'Glee'

Kathy Griffin will appear as a guest star in an forthcoming episode of Glee.

A character called Tammy will be played by Griffin,according to reports and rumoured to be feature on former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin, who will sit on the judging panel for the Regional Glee competition.

On Friday evening,the comedienne herself broke the news and says "So excited!! It's true!!"

On the judging panel,Former Grey's Anatomy star Loretta Devine will also appear, as an ex-stripper nun called Sister Mary Constance.

The exact air date of Griffin's guest appearance on Glee is still unknown, although it is likely to be towards the end of the current second season of the Fox sitcom.

Cee Lo Green wants 'Glee' spot

Cee Lo Green has wished that he wants to appear on Glee.It was confirmed by singer the if any chance is given to him to perform at Glee,he will accept the offer.

"I would love to do Glee, Cee Lo said.

He added: "I met the cast in London, and they seemed really cool. It would be a great experience."

The Grammy nominee said that he would be open to performing "all types of songs" on the show.
