Gwyneth Paltrow's UK Glee debut sparks chart success


Gwyneth Paltrow is proving to be a download hit following her presence on famous TV show Glee.

She played a substitute teacher Holly Holliday in Glee and entertains fans with the number of of different tracks.

According to mid-week chart sales, the medley is at number 24, while chart-topper Forget You has bagged her spot 29.

'The impact of Gwyneth Paltrow ... demonstrates how powerful TV can be in influencing music tastes and interests in the digital world,' said Martin Talbot, Official Charts Company director.

However, despite Gwynnie's stalwart effort, Adele looks set to stay at the top of the charts this week.

The Brit singer's latest offering Someone Like You is likely to bag the top singles chart spot for the second week running, while her album 21 is continuing to outsell its nearest rivals.
